Get the thick kind that stand up on their own without a tray.  They are more fun and easier to play.  They are very high quality.  I have bought for about $40 and they come in a good case, though the whole set is heavy.

I bought one on Ebay, and I got it from Great Britain, and it was sent to me in the U.S.  It ended up costing around $40, but it wasn't a professional set, but it was complete none the less.  If you want to get a nice one in a case, you can spend upwards of $300 on it.  Or, you can get a decent set I bet for around $100.  I recommend Ebay, and Amazon.com.  Good Luck!
