2nd class prices only. The train websites only say there's a tariff on board. I'm guessing it's 10 euros or less, being a short ride.

  1. It's a bit more than that.

As per the Belgian train website, a round-trip, 2nd class ticket is 35,20 euros.  One-way would be half.

On weekends, however, there is a special deal, which they call "un jour à la mer" (one day at the seaside).  A round-trip ticket is then 18,40 euros, but you need to come back on the same day.

  2. Hi,

    ***When travelling monday to friday***

Single journey - ordinary ticket 17.60€ (for travelling on the day/date indicated on the ticket)

Return journey - ordinary ticket 35.20€ (for travelling the day indicated on the ticket : travel to La Panne and back to Brussels the same day)

*** When travelling on week-ends, there are 3 types of tickets available ***

1/ Ordinary ticket : same prices as above

2/ "ticket 1 jour à la mer" : 18.40€ (for travelling the day indicated on the ticket : to "La Panne" and back to Brussels the same day)

3/ "ticket week-end" : 18.40€ (ticket valid all week-end : you can travel to "La Panne" and back to Brussels whenever you want between friday 7pm and sunday 12pm).  On official "long" week-ends, the ticket usually covers the day of legal holiday too. F.i. If monday is a legal holiday, "ticket WE" is valid from friday 7pm till monday 12pm.

*** More info (imetables, price-calculator) can be found on the SNCB-web-site.  Link to the english version :
