Cost of attendance at UH?

Question

HI all! I am getting ready to attend UH-main campus and I have heard that it is expensive. I have gone to the website and looked at fees but there are so many add-ons depending on what you take that I am not sure how much it will approx. cost. I am asking according to 12 crdt hours. Please if anyone has attended and wants to give me an idea I would love it. (plus a sure10 points!)-Thanks,

According to US News & World Report, the magazine that compiles a highly respected annual "America's Best Colleges" review, the average student at the University of Houston pays $6909 in tuition and fees if they are a Texas resident and $15,159 if they are from out of state. The magazine also estimated the annual room and board expense to be an additional $6418.
