Cost of contact lens fitting?

I have an appointment with specsavers to see if i can wear contacts, will it cost if so how much? thanks.

the cheapest I've got glasses & contact lens fitting was $120.  Make sure they use a kerotometer on you to measure your eyeball size

i'm actually going through SS at the moment - i'm having a free trial - just ask.  thats a teaching appointment and a free pair of monthly lenses or 5 pair of daily disposables.

then in future you just buy the lenses

I am with specsavers. I think my original consultation cost £20, but if you end up getting contacts with them you can get it free depending on what offers they have on.

That offer started the day after my consult...

I went with Donald and Atchinson and my consultation was also free - two of them... first a fitting with lens that were nearly my prescription to see if I could wear them (no pun intended) and then a second once my prescription came in...

Both times the service was free, but only because there was an offer on, and because I had a relative working there and the optician fancied me.... best to ask... most high streets will have offers on, if not just lie...
