  1. this salary is good for a couple only

if you have two kids or more you will barely manage by the end of the month

costs in bahrain are rising year by year

average food in average restaurants for 2 adults would cost you 5bd to 8bd (1$ = 0.375BD) compare to 4bd to 6bd few years ago

  2. The salary you've been offered is average. It is okay for a couple and especially that accommodation is covered.

Food is cheap in Bahrain, it will not cost you more than BD 100 in food supplies. I live with a wife and no kids, that's how I know.

For an apartment, electricity will be around BD 15 per month in the summer and BD 10 in the winter (that's including water). As for gas, a whole cylender costs around BD 2, and that should be enough for almost 1.5 to 2 months.

As for the YK Al-Moayyed Group, it's one of the biggest groups in Bahrain. No worries working there. They are one of the biggest and richest families in Bahrain.

As for your wife, depending on her luck, she can find a job as well there is no problems with that.

For more specific questions, e-mail me and I will be glad to help

  3. well ur salary is pretty good and you have some real good incentives so there half your problem is solved already. And im sure they will increase your pay sooner or later. The food is real cheap in bahrain and its a foodie paradise. The oil is cheap, because.. well your in the middle of east.. and so is gas.

Alymmayed is a great place 2 work.. full of new recurits from india. Im sure you will have fun.
