Any articals or websites discussing cost of living increases in the US due to gas prices? OR any sites that discuss yearley cost of living increase in general?

The effect of  the increase in oil prices vary  by life style, location and  by income level. For the "average" consumer the BLS inflation statistics show that  the impact is only  1 percent or less  but  some people are really suffering.
