  1. what carl said is a modest estimate.. Id personally tack on a couple thousand more to that budget though...

  2. I think the food expense can be much less than 500 riyals per person per month IF your wife cooks all the time.  My husband and I spend about 1000 riyals a month on food (and non-food items from the grocery store), and that includes eating some fast food meals, and that includes buying some imported food items.  We also only eat boneless skinless chicken breast, which is about 17 riyals for 500g.  If you buy whole chickens or legs/thighs, you will save a lot of money.

  3. 1. House Rent = SR18,000 per year (excluding water and electric bills)

    2. Car expense = usually vehicle is provided by the company and the gas consumption but if not, you have to buy for your own. There are many 2nd hand cars to choose from. Price range SR15,000-30,000 is a very good car already.

    3. Food expense = SR500 per person per month

    4. School = I have no idea for how much in international school but I know it is expensive

    5. Family insurance is already covered by the employer including family health card.

......so I gave you rough estimates for the current expenses you need in Dammam and Al-khobar area for foreigners/expats.....
