Cost of living rent in London average?

Hi what is a good half decent area in London for a single 25 year old single man and how much rent is a decent price for a simple roof over my head? Thanks

i live in zone 3, and pay £900 per month

A one or two bedroom flat in zone 2 will set you back at least £250 a week.  You can always cut costs by flatsharing, which is very common here.
