Cost of prescription contacts?

I was wondering what the cost of prescription contacts would be? I have an astigmatism, would that effect price?

Toric lenses vary largly in price. Acuvue Advanced for Astigmatism have been sold for $50 a 6 pack (two boxes last 3 1/2 months) Pure Vision Toric for $70 a 6 pack (two boxes last 6 months) There is also a new toric lens out from Ciba Vision, the makers of O2 Optix which I was very pleased with. I'm not quite sure about the price. The best advice I can give you is to shop around. Most places give discounts and rebates if you buy a year's supply at time.

It depends entirely on how much astigmatism you have. If Toric lenses are required in your case, then yes, they are more expensive than regular contacts.

Prices of the contacts vary a lot, depending on what you need, and want.
