Cost of shipping bmw from ny to phx through ebay?

i am considering buying a car and it would be shipped through ebay from new york to pheonix, how much would it cost??? dont tell me to find it on ebay bc i tried and i didnt find anything it is a four door 2000 323i...any and all info is appreciated

i'd say drive to NY with a friend and drive both cars back.  it'd be a lot cheaper than trying to ship it, even with gas prices.  or, you could just wait til there is one that is local.  i don't think flying up and getting it would be that economical, flying has gotten outrageous lately.  that's all i can think of.

It should be somewhere between $600-$900, depending on the shipping company. Many companies will let you choose between having your car in an open or closed trailer, or on the top or bottom, and the prices vary depending on your choice. I bought a car off Ebay that was over 900 miles away. I flew down there and drove it back up, for about $700 total, including a hotel room and plane tickets for two. I would highly advise doing this, as you get a chance to personally inspect the car, ensuring that the car was described accurately, and you aren't dissapointed when it arrives.
