It depends on where you're going on Lago Garda - it's a large lake.

There are private transfer companies that will take you to the lake from around 80 - 120 euro. You can get quotes for this option at:

It's much cheaper to take the shuttle bus from the airport to the Brescia bus station (7.50 euro) or the Verona bus station (11 euro) and then transfer to a bus to your final destination.

Or you could catch a train to Desenzano or Peschiera del Garda from Brescia or Verona. The bus stations and train stations are essentially co-located. When you get to the lake there are scheduled boats between the major towns.
