As New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is adopting new measures to reduce its expenses, some analysts believe that the game is likely to suffer by these tactics. The cash-strapped board has nothing to fund the salaries of the players and pay for their overseas ventures.
In a bid to cut down its routine expenditure by at least $3 million, the NZC announced last month to chop up the remunerations of the professional cricketers and call them off by 2015.
