Cost to Havana?

In two weeks, I am going on a trip to Varadero, Cuba. I would love to go to Havana for a one-day trip. Can anyone advise me about the cost of this trip?

I already know the approximate price of the trip with a tour guide. I am more interested in taking a taxi, or some other form of transportation.

You can rent a car as well in Cuba:

But not always inexpensive.

A taxi will cost around $60 CUC to go all around...it will vary depending...but you can ask a taxi driver to take you for the whole day and show you everything...and you can pay him $45 CUC for that...instead of taking a taxi here and there.

They'll be more than happy to do that for you. They'll show you the best spots. Sometimes some will show you kind hospitality and invite you to their homes.
