  1. ABS is not availible as an aftermarket installation.  The conversion is not possible.

  2. It would be cheaper to trade your 07 for an 08 and the system would work better/be more reliable.

To even attempt a conversion you would need an ABS module (at least $1,000), brake master cylinder, new knuckles and hubs, wheel speed sensors, new CV axles, new wiring harness, probably a new ECM and a bunch of custom fitted brake line.

Maybe $4-5,000 total when all is said and done (probably more) and no guarantee any of it will really work when your done. And all of that for a rather dubious benefit.  One of the two vehicles I own has ABS.  In the 7 years I have had it even though we get 12-inch snowstorms here I have invoked the ABS exactly 2 times and only once can I say it MAY have saved me from a serious accident - and that only because I train people how to properly use ABS so can do so myself.

ABS just isn't worth the effort and expense

  3. The conversion IS possible but hardly worth the money, time , and aggravation to get it to work properly.  You would need a donor car to swap everything over, and the knowledge to connect it all and make it work.  Not worth it in my opinion.

  4. Shouldn't ABS be standard on an '07 anyways?

  5. abs is for people who don't know how to drive...mine kept needing sensors at 125 each...i pulled plug...no ABS,,,no problem
