Costa Rica Helpp PLEASE!!?

ok so here are a few questions. i'm in 6th grade btw. What is the country divided into like we are states in Us....? And u got ne recent news?? Current events? THANKS SOO MUCH TO THOSE WHO HELPED!! <33333 xD

Costa Rica is divided into seven Provinces. Provinces are the equivalent to &quot;States&quot; in the U.S. Then, each Province is divided into over 80 cantons. Cantons are the equivalent of &quot;countys&quot; in the U.S. (i.e. Los Angeles Country in California and Miami-Dade County in Florida; The Escazú Canton in the San Jose Province in Costa Rica).
