Costa Rica Trip for College Students?

My friends and I are planning a trip to visit Costa Rica in the summer. We are planning on seeing the fantastic beaches, getting a tour through the rain forest, shopping, and all other attractions Costa Rica has to offer to tourists. What part of Costa Rica would be recommended to visit to fit our needs? In addition, which airport would I need to fly to, to be close to the recommended area? Finally, would I need to rent a car while I was down there?

Well I think that you should go to Guanacaste, there are the best beaches well in my opinion xD but I Don't remember the name of the airport xD well and if you want lo look all that things it would be a good idea to rent a car but you can also take a tourist tour that the hotels offer that take you to all that things with a group of persons but you will need to call the hotel with a lot of time before you come here... well but there's a lot of things to see here Good luck with your trip
