IS WHAT WE WANT TO BE CLOSE TO. wHATS A REALLY GOOD HOTEL. wE REALLY ARE OPEN TO ANYTHING. wE ARE LEAVING AND ARRIVING OUT OF THE SAN JOSE AIRPORT. wE ARE OPEN TO ANYTHING IN THAT AREA. hAVE TO HAVE A VIEW AND A GOOD POOL. nEEDS TO BE CLOSE TO BEACH

I guess the answer depends on the budget that you have available.  There are many good hotels from 3 to 5 stars in the Jaco/Quepos/Manuel Antonio Area.  You can go to the TicosLand web directory and find lots of information about hotels in Costa Rica.  You can also go to the National Institute of Tourism website.  You are sure to find all of the information you need.

There are three hotels that I like, and have stayed at all three. Depending on when you are going, rates vary $75-150 a night. Penthouse suits obviously more.

The copacabanahotel, probably has the best food, right on the water, a tad secluded, a little funky, but within walking distant from downtown Jaco. Sometimes on Friday and Saturday night they have a live band (jazz, rock etc) and caters to the more younger and fishing crowd.

the best western is a good hotel... is not far from the downtown and is not expensive. the beach is right in front and that's where most of the people surf
