Question:

Costa Rica rainforest vacation?

My girlfriend and I were interested in going to Costa Rica to see the rainforest and I have a few questions:

1 What towns (or areas) are known for having a beautiful, lush jungle (that can safely be ventured by tourists)?

2 Are there any hotels that are actually IN the canopy, kind of like a modified treehouse? If so, what are the names of the hotel?

3 Is march a good time to go?

That's all for now. Thanks so much in advance for your assistance!!!!

  2. Hello, Costa Rica is your better option by its famous forests if that is what you look for, an excellent place to go is to monterverde has an excellent natural beauty and its forest is extremely tropical and is very safe. Hotels exist as Fonda Vela that is ubicated in the middle of mountains of Monterverde and if wishes to see but information of this hotel and but hotels they can enter to [http://www.travelexcellence.com/ ].

In this page you can find promotions and packages from trips to these places, and I assure to you that March is excellent to go to Costa Rica.

    Bye

  3. Where are you flying into and how long are you staying? This can help  decide which area I could tell you about...also, are you planning to rent a car--it's not as bad as some would make it---we rented a car for 3 wks and never had a problem. We were there for almost a month June 2006 and have lots of info and contacts

  4. We want you to Travel in Paradise with us. We offer you great options to enjoy Costa Rica in full: its landscapes, its beautiful nature and for sure its culture.

  5. I highly recommend you check out Luna Lodge:

    http://lunalodge.com/

Located on the southern most edge of the Osa Peninsular, close to Carate, the lodge is set into mountainside rainforest that ends at the beach.  The Osa is  the most remote and unspoiled region of Costa Rica and home to thousands of animal and plant species not found anywhere else in Costa Rica.

The lodge itself is a beautiful and peaceful retreat with a large ranch house, several palm thatched bungalows and amazing tented accommodations on its upper most ridge.

This is a very special place, to say the least.
