i heard costco was great with returns on all your electronics. they take back anything you decide you dont want for any reason no questions asked.

i bought a GPS in Sept 07 n returned it in OCT 07 bc it wasnt working properly. i bought the same one that day. figuring it was probably something wrong with the actual GPS, not the whole line from them. this one worked a little better but it still freezes a whole lot. now the freezing happens all the time even as its giving me directions. anyway i want to return it again but it been 9 months since i bought it i have the receipt n box and everything, but i dont think theyll take it back. does anyone know what costcos return policy is on GPS?

  1. I heard Costco had a really long return policy, even for GPS receivers, so you might be able to return it still.  Take a look at the back of your receipt and see if there is anything on it about the return policy.  You could also try calling another Costco to see what they say the return policy is, that way you aren't tipping your regular Costco off that you're trying to return something old.

    According to their website:

We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund. Exceptions: Televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPOD / MP3 players and cellular phones must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund.

I don't see anything in there about GPS receivers, and it sounds like there isn't a time limit on returns for stuff that isn't on the exception list.
