Costco in Australia?

Question

I read that Costco is planning to start building a store in Melbourne in September 2008. I am dying to get something from there so does anyone know when it is likely it would be finished? I have no idea how these things work or how long they would take but I'm looking forward to it opening. So how long?

to add to the above it is being opened in Docklands.

well i heard on the news in Melbourne that the store is opening late this year, so around september, and then the other stores are being opened in Sydney and the Gold Coast next year.

Costco is coming here next year.  I'm under the impression that it's going to be at the new Docklands development.

Hopefully, it's as good as it is over in Nth America and they supply some things that aren't readily available here.
