Costume Class Ideas needed. More details follow.?

I ride a bay quarter horse. His show name is luck of the irish. I really want to go "all out". I need some irish costume class ideas for us. Thanks in advance!

you could buy some gold and green "horse paint"to color the horse and get a blanket that has a clover on it and get a halter, put  gold and green fabric around it. and paint the hoves

Use stencils to write things like  luck of the irish, shamrocks, a harp, leprechans, rainbows, pots of gold ect in green , gold or white hair spray.. like they sell in hot topic, spencers ect..

Dress yourself as a leprechan..

of if your really really into the irish thing.. there is always the  dullahan  .. a irish fairy.. dressed in black robes and on a snorting steed.. look it up online

Okay, here is my costume idea and could probably be done fairly cheap.

Materials: curling ribbon in all colors of the rainbow (party store), green posterboard, green polo wraps, gold horse paint.

Description: Band or braid your horse's mane and tie ribbons in the main...in rainbow-red at the poll, next orange, etc. all down to the withers. Keep them fairly long so they hang down past the neck. (like in 3-4 inch sections). Cut out lots of green shamrocks from the posterboard, use these on various parts of your horse, stick them with double sided tape. Make a horseshoe stencil and use the gold paint to stencil horseshoes on the hindquarters. Wrap horse's legs in green polos...maybe even cutout some gold horseshoes to add to the legwraps and safety pin them on.

You be the pot of gold...just dress in gold outfit, maybe paint face and spray hair.

You could also wrap your bridle and reins in some type of gold fabric (from fabric store), and also decorate your saddlepad with horseshoes or shamrocks.

u could do something like where hes a pot of gold. are you r and someones the rainbow. are make him look like a lebbercon. with a pot of gold.

You could get a blanket and cut the size of you saddle out and put Paper clover leafs on the blanket and maybe even put a clover leaf on you, your saddle, and your bridle.

id get some plastic gold coins and put them in his mane and tail with string

i think you can get some paint for horses so id paint a green clover on his rump and maybe give him green and white stockings

id also wrap his bridle with green string and put moreclovers on it or coins it sup tou

then for you id wear umm well all i can think of for irish is those white puffy skirts th at women wear oh maybe a plaid kilt thing they wear t hose alot

id get a green cowboy hat but u may ride english but i think u can get a green hlemet cover at tack shops/ websties

id get green stockings kinda like pippi longstockings

id braid your hair

put green clovers on your face and some sparkles

idk what top, just depends on what you feel like wearing

paint his hooves gold

get a green saddle pad

get green sparkles and put it on his body wherever

If it were my costume class I would probably decorate him with tons of four leafed clovers and green and gold.
