Costume Class Ideas?

Question

Every year my sister and I participate in the costume class at fair. I have decided that Me and my aunts miniature horse are going to be Fred Flinstone and Pebbles. But my sister has had no luck coming up with a good idea. Im usually the one who comes up with the ideas, but im stumped.

Two years ago she had sucess with her mini as dressing up as Little Bo Peep and it was the cutest thing ever. Last year she was Dora and Diego with her mustang who happened to be named Diego. We go all out for this class, and i would like to know if anyone could throw out some ideas.

Okay, I go watch a costume competition every year, and there are some outfits I've seen that everyone LOVES! And they all won (either won the show, or an award for most creative, ect).

Dress the mini up as a tractor, and the rider as a country farmer. The tractor part was so cute! They draped a big green sheet over the horse, and were able to put big cardboard wheels on the sheet where the tractor tires would be. Then paint John Deere in yellow on both sides. There are tons of ways you could make the tractor really cute.

The mini is a pink cadillac, and the rider is dressed as Elvis. You could even have the rider carrying a boombox that is playing Elvis songs (if it won't spook the mini).

Mini is tinkerbelle, and the rider is Peter Pan!

Paint the mini all the colors of the rainbow (there is horse safe paint for that. Also, rainbow mane and tail), and the rider can be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz). Or, better yet, make the mini look like a giant Yellow Brick Road, and then deck the rider out in a Dorothy costume. Basket and all!

Fire truck - Put a red blanket over the horse and have a hose and a cardboard ladder.

Santa + Reindeer.

Angels - You could get a few white feathers and put them through the horses mane and tail.

Indian and horse - Not very creative, but easy to do.

Death and his horse - Your horse would probably have to be black though.  Just get a cape and a large plastic dagger.

Or she could dress as an angel n her horse a devil or vice versa

One year I went as a playboy bunny n but little bunny ears on my pony which went down quite well

She could go as a theme like mexican with a sombrero which would work with a name like Diego

A superhero theme might be good such as super man

Your sister could be a hippi and her horse could be the truck. use hair spray to do some fun pictures or words on it

or

she could be a bee and the horse could be a flower.
