Cotto's Promoter?

Give me a fighter name and the reason why you should be

the next fight for him. like U would be the opponent

promoter.

Good question! He has been very active and has already fought and beat many of the top fighters in the welterweight division. Shane Mosely, Zab Judah and Carlos Quintana have all been beaten by him already. If I were him, I might fight someone with a good winning streak like Jesus Soto Karass who hasn't lost in 12 fights and Cotto could use the bout to look at his skills and endurance and then if he performs well I'd have Cotto jump right back in the mix for a title by fighting Paul Williams who has beaten Margarito already or if that fight isn't available perhaps fight Andre Berto who is the top undefeated fighter in the division. A win over either of these would elevate him right up equal to Margarito again and if he wanted a rematch he would definitely have earned it.

Cotto said he wants to take a long rest before he decides what to do next.    He needs to get his confidence back after what happened last night.  He is a great fighter.  He just met a fighter who had the style to beat him.  He now has the choice of regaining his greatness or fading away.  I think he will choose the former.  He didn't lose his greatness last night; he just lost a fight.  He will learn from his defeat.  That is part of what makes a fighter great.
