Cotto scared of margarito?

i just read on eastsideboxing.com that cotto still hasnt signed for the fight against margo for july 26,08...margarito signed for the fight a month ago and boxing oficials are wondering why cotto has delayed any signing of the fight...bob arum stated that he noticed cotto is having dougts of fighting margo knowing he is only 5'7 and margo is 5'11 and the more tougher fighter....i just hope cotto doesnt pull a mayweather move and avoid margarito....but who knows,maybe cotto is just waiting to get figures on the purse he will make and than he will sign...i hope so because this will be fight of the year and like i said before im putting 5k bet,i know margo will beat the s#$t out cotto! prediction;margarito wins by knock out in the late rounds!

I highly doubt that Cotto will pull out. Cotto strikes me as a person of pride and doesn't just fight for money. If Cotto bagged out of this fight; I don't I think I could look at him as the same fighter. But as I said earlier though, he won't back out.

That was the same rant people went on about Williams! "Margo's going to walk him down, he hits harder, he's never faced anyone like Margarito, blah blah blah. And what happened ? Margo lost to a better boxer. If you do your history Margo has lost 5 times and guess what they were all boxers with extensive amateur careers and they could box. So this, Margo is going to crush Cotto is hogwash. Cotto is a pure boxer and not a one-punch wonder like Cintron. Who by the way, opened Margo up in just 5 rounds of boxing. Can you imagine what Cotto is going to do ?

Cotto is getting the numbers right and that's it. In the newspaper in Puerto Rico his father already said that he's signing. Besides what you read was not a well written piece with no one's name as the source! You'll be out of 5k in July. Oscar himself predicted, "He's fighting Margarito, obviously we know that is an easy fight for Cotto." Easy why ? Because Cotto is a boxer and will not stand in front of Margarito. Don't mistake Cotto for Cintron not even close!

Cotto has began  his training. No doubt that he is not afraid.

I don't think Cotto is afraid of Margarito, but maybe he should be.

Cotto is an aggressive fighter and has a good punch, but Margarito is a harder puncher.  He punches much harder than Shane Mosley and  throws lots of punches.  I don't think it's a good idea to press Margarito.  But that's the way Cotto fights.

Cotto's chin is suspect, although his trainer says he was only wobbled after dehydrating himself to make weight at 140 pounds. Margarito's chin seems to be made of granite.

This fight may be Cotto The Irresistable Force versus Margarito The Immovable Object.  

I think Margarito is more immovable than Cotto is irresistable.
