The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 manager believes that the Dagestani club have improved after making big signings and appointing new manager, Guus Hiddink.
Lokomotiv Moscow will play the upcoming Russian Premier League encounter against Anzhi Makhachkala at Lokomotiv stadium. The Moscow-based club are yet to lose a game during the third league round after claiming four points
from the opening 2 league meetings.
The Lokhi were held to a goalless draw, after claiming a 2-0 win against Kuban Krasnodar. As things stand, Lokomotiv are at the fifth spot on the league table and trail the league leaders by 10 points.
The last time these two teams met in a league competition, Lokomotiv managed to win 1-0 against Anzhi on the away turf. However, Jose Couceiro believes that they might have to work very hard this time around, keeping in mind
the arrival of the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 FC manager, Guus Hiddink at Makhachkala stadium.
There’s little arguing that Anzhi have become a prominent Russian outfit by signing key players during the last two transfer windows. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212 have all joined the ambitious
club.
Furthermore, Anzhi grabbed the headlines by signing the Dutch tactician, earlier this month. Hiddink joined the Russian outfit three months after resigning from the post of Turkish national team manager.
Speaking on the upcoming game, Couceiro went on to praise the former Real Madrid coach, admitting that Hiddink will help the ambitious Russian club claim their first trophy in the near future.
“Anzhi are a strong team with experienced players and a well-known coach. No one can underestimate this team because Hiddink has now come to help them recently. Though he had little time to make some drastic changes, he will
help them claim points on the league table.
"I have carefully studied their last match and I have figures out an evident change. But for me, Anzhi are no different from Zenit, CSKA Moscow or Kuban.” Couceiro was quoted as saying.
Couceiro motivated the Railroaders, reminding them their second league round 4-2 win against the table-toppers, Zenit St. Petersburg. The Lokhi came from behind to seal the memorable win at home.
