  1. no im afarid cough meds or for only for ages 2 upwards

  2. Use a vaporizer THEY ARE GREAT!! My nephew is 2 years old and his first year he had a lot of colds, he has never had a cough medicine. I use a vaporizer and Vicks vaporub for children during the day and his parents use them at night.

  3. I give my son Pediacare which his doctor said is fine; however, my son is 2. I wouldn't give cough medicine to a 13 month old unless the doctor told me to.

  4. I have 21 month old twin girls.  They both have colds/cough pretty often.  I was told to use Baby Vicks Rub on the bottom of their feet.  For some reason this works!  It doesn't take the cough away 100% but it helps alot.

I put it on the bottom of their feet after they go to sleep so they aren't aware that it is there.  I rub it on just like lotion. it takes about 15 to 20 minutes before it starts working but it works better than anything else I've found.

  5. I know tha bottle says consult a doctor for children under six.but i usually give my son (18 months) half of a six yr old dosage, which i beleive will be2.5 ml. I had a doctor tell me that he does it for his children who were around tha same age. Tha only thing is he wasn't my son's doctor, but a doctor none tha less. I've been doing it since he was about 12 months, and it always works well. He gets over tha cold, and doesn't have any nasty side effects.
