  1. not with their current team (lack of forwards - realise they won on the weekend but it was wet conditions so big forwards wouldve struggled)

and not with (i predict) collingwood (ok they should win that) and saints and hawks standing in their way

im hoping for a repeat of last years hawks adelaide final :P that would be sweet

    but pretty much

geelong is going to win unless they like crash the team bus on the way to the game or something

  2. They will repeat history in the sense that they will beat Collingwood at AAMI then play in the semis - but after that, I don't think so this year.

They have done well with the hand they have been dealt this year, but I reckon 5th overall.

  3. in 98, we had our leading goal kicker out(modra). and 08, we have our leading goal kicker out (burton). in 98 we were up against the unbackable favourites on a huge winning streak before the grandfinal (Kangaroos) 08 exactly the same situation. so there are alot of simularities. and fingers crossed that we can repeat history

  4. Exactly Kev, of course it's possible.

    We've gotta be optimistic !

Nobody would take our thoughts seriously though because we're from Adelaide, lets hope they all eat their words if we do do it :))

At worst though, at least i'll be able to see Nathan Basset play his last game at AAMI.

2008 has probably been the best & worst year for me, a premiership would definitely make me smile :))))

  5. W.C Eagles read my lips.

    Maybe next year mate

  6. no because collingwood is gonna belt ya

  7. The Crows play Collingwood in the first final and even if they win (which i think they will by 2 points) they'll face either Geelong or most likely StKilda at the TD where they lost (to the saints this is) by 48 points only 2 weeks ago.

Furthermore, even if they were to advance, Adelaide would play either Hawthorn or Western Bulldogs in the preliminary final.. again, in Melbourne.

A win at any stage of the finals looks tough for the Crows so I think it's not looking good for them and their supporters.

    Sorry mate, answer is no!

  8. We all know geelong has it in the bag!

  9. geez I hope not BigKev, no offense but I am hoping for to Vic teams in the finals this year - just for something different :P

  10. Maybe you could hun but you are especially in the way of Geelong. Sorry to say but you won't make it to the grand finals. Just my predictions.

    xoxo

  11. You wish, The doggies are gonna win. Game on moles.

  12. in both years

the Saints looked unbeatable...Harvey won the Brownlow in both years

so did the Roos (remember Pagan's paddock?)

Adelaide won the games that mattered

Lets HOPE history repeats itself....I wonder if Harvey might win a third Brownlow.

    .

  13. I wish, i really do. But geelong are unstoppable, no one can beat them.
