I've read that the Italian police have a reputation for being corrupt and have lied about evidence being there that was actually not there at all and that they are trying to make an example of her. Also, she was interrogated for several hours, at least 12, with no food or water, slapped on the back of the head, and that her confession was coerced. Statistically speaking, given her background, it is unlikely that such a person would commit this crime. Young, sheltered, educated girls who like to study just don't commit these kinds of acts. Who knows? We may never know the truth. The whole situation is just so tragic for everyone involved. What do you think about this case?
