Allright: C2 gives people the power of the Geass knowing that if the person uses it too much that they will eventually be over run with power and go insane, also when she does give people this power she does it over a type of contract and if the other person can fufil the terms of the contract then she will eventually abandon that person and find someone else to give the ability to, also she can't be effected by the geass, plus some of the people that have a geass cant turn it off and they are stuck like this.
For example one of the characters named Mao: http://www.inoue-orihime.org/mao/mao.png is one of the people in the chinese federation that C2 gave the Geass when he was 6, and his Geass has the power to read minds, but he can't turn his off, so 11 years later he whent insane, and his mind reading powers cant work on C2.
So i dont think that Britania is the enemy i think that C2 is the enemy, and the Black Knights should try to get rid of C2 instead of the Britanians.
