dont think the odds are for him this year...i mean u have brady who will put up huge numbers...LT is gunna be crucial for chargers success...even possibly adrian peterson will be a top contender

Well he could, but we really don't know.  I would say he has a chance because he has proven he could win the big games and even win the super bowl.  But one thing that all of the MVP's have had are talented players around them.  Ask yourself, who are the WR's or offensive lineman that Eli has that can turn him into an MVP? There are very few QB's that can win the MVP award and not have a major reciever or talent on the offensive line.  The only recievers that the Giants have are Amani Toomer, and Plaxico Burress.  They don't have a big recieving core.  Teams such as the Colts, or the Patriots, those teams have a talented and loaded recieiving core.  So I think in order to win the MVP award, the QB needs to have some good weapons.  Without the weapons, then the QB lessens his chances.  Eli is a good QB, but I think he needs to develop and mature more to have big numbers like his brother Peyton.

nope. unless he wins the superbowl.  making it to the playoffs won't be big enough.  giants overall is a great team and they win because of the team and not because of eli. so my guess is that he would have a shot at it if he wins the superbowl.  which won't happen cause the EAGLES r gonna win it this year.

Absolutely. His o-line is going to be dominant again and take a look at his receivers: Burress, Toomer, Steve Smith, Sinorice Moss, Mario Manningham, and Domenik Hixon.
