Could Floyd Mayweather win a world title at middleweight?

What are his chances aginst the current champions Kelly Palvik WBC/WBO, Authur Abraham IBF, Felix Sturm WBA?.

This weight class would be too much for PBF. Admittedly, he's a great technical fighter but in this division he would one, slow down, two not have the power to back anyone up, three, the chin to fight at this weight class and four the frame or height to win.

i dont think he has the best chance but he got some chance he has incrediable speed but if he moves up to middleweight he can lose amount speed and mayweather aint a knockout puncher so it would be kinda hard unless he sneaks himself out and jab the whole 12 rounds

yeah Mayweather apparently WANTS to try and win a title at middleweigh but they won't let him in case he gets badly injured. ive also heard that when he was like 12 or so he got into fights with 15 and 16 year olds and he won! and Kelly Palvik said he would be a little scared actually to face mayweather!

mayweather could win a title at middleweight. but i dont see him beating pavlik in this division. he should stay at welterweight and fight cotto. in a true superfight!! i hope for boxings sake it happens

I think it would be extremely risky,but Floyd has always surprised us so many times...

If he challenges and wins the middleweight belt and retires unbeaten, he would surely be regarded as the best fighter in the history of boxing and take the Robinson' s place.

If he fought the right opponent ne could. Mayweather could probably out box Felix Sturm to win the WBA Middleweight belt because Sturm doesn't have enoug power to keep Mayweather at bay.

With Floyd's experience and skill set, he should have no problem winning Middle gold, Pavlik would give him a run, but Floyd won't get in a brawl with him, too smart.

i think pavlik is too big for him, abraham would be too agressive. he might have a chance against sturm, sturm is kinda like winky wright,  has a shell defense, and has a great jab. but doesnt have a lot of power. sturm is probably the safest

yes he could . i believe he is the best since ray leonard & his skills would more than compensate for any problems in moving up 2 weights. i say a points win over each of the present champions.
