Could Henin be No. 1 by the end of 2010?

If Justine Henin keeps playing the way she started, it’s not beyond her. But you’d suspect it would still be pretty tough to get past Serena Williams in enough Grand Slams to build the rankings points. You’d have to say the top 10, if not the top five, is well within Henin’s grasp.

Tough call but Serena and Clijsters are looking strong at the moment.  And Venus has a thing about winning Wimbledon (when she is not losing to Serena!)

I expect to see Henin and Sharapova in the top 5 by the end of the year.

I expect Safina to drop out of the top 5.
