  1. if it's your passion, then i see no reason why you shouldn't succeed.  try this site to look for theater jobs: hollywood-opportunities.com

they have theater auditions as well as movie and tv casting calls.

  2. Singing lessons are a WASTE OF MONEY

take some classes at school, join choir, try out for the musical

Your a great singer that can only get better

audition for any show you can, even if you dont get the lead

"There are no Small roles, just parts with less lines to remember"

  3. Lessons will help. Even if you decide not to pursue performance as a career, it would be good for you to have more confidence in your singing.

I think you should ask your parents, and see what teachers are in your area and how much they charge.

Many teachers belong to the National Association of Teachers of Singing:

  4. I'd start taking lessons FAST, or you'll miss out on all those fun opportunities in high school. Drama and/or music camp in the summer is a great way to get immersed and learn some great skills. Plus, it won't interfere with school. YOu may find theater day camps locally or head off to overnight camp. I went to French Woods in NY and it was amazing.

You know, you don't have to do serious theater to enjoy it. I do a lot of community theater on the side in my spare time and it's tons of fun!

  5. yep, we can tell you have no training.  You have a pretty voice.

A passion for theatre is not enough,  You need talent, perseverance, industry and luck. If your parents won't give you voice lessons or let you be in the school plays, you are up the creek.  I would not mention anything about an acting career.  I would just ask if you could be in the school plays.  Then when you are 18, you can make your own decisions.
