Recently I have been unable to sleep at all. I've been awake for the past week and things are getting weird. I'm starting to see things that I don't think are really there, but I really don't know if there really are there or not. It feels like I'm in a nightmare.

I find notes and papers in my room signed Ace and I'm don't know who or what that is.

I'm 18 years old and I'm truely fightened. Can anyone help me?

  1. you may have insomnia which causes your hallucinations and it might cause you to fall asleep without remembering because you don't enter the R.E.M. stage and you might sleepwalk to put the notes around. another problem might be that you have Dissociative Identity Disorder which is basically a split personality that might present itself when you dont notice.anyhow, see a doctor like everyone else says and if that doesnt help after...maybe police?

  2. You should see a doctor because not sleeping for a whole week is not good in any way, shape or form.  Are the notes real?  Take them to a parent and talk to them about it.  Something weird is going on either way.  Get some help!

  3. See your doctor as soon as possible.  Lack of sleep can possibly lead to psychosis.  Get this checked out and get some doctor recommended sleeping tablets.

  4. Take 2 Tylenol PM and go to sleep. Once you wake up you will be able to think and sort all of this out

  5. From what i can see now something is wrong, Go to a psychiatrist's and check things out. It could be a big thing like Scizoaffective dissorder or as  little as  phycosis

  6. See a therapist immediantly.I think that is how Sybil started out or something.

  7. Go to the hospital.

  8. Lol,sounds crazy but I got the same problems that you have, also for the past week.

I don't wanna sound paranoid but i do think that this is something in our collective consciousness, maybe something affecting us all. dunno ,but manny noticed that last week.peace

  9. first of all who do you share your home with it could be some one in the home playing a practical joke on you thinking that its funny.the other thing is it might be you doing these things in your sleep i don't know if you sleep walk but it could be another theory i hope you figure it out maybe you could maybe leave a video cameras in your room at night or where ever these things are appearing

  10. Lack of sleep can cause confusion and hallucination - perhaps it is that. I would have someone with you to keep an eye on your and moniter what your doing.

If it gets worse, consult a doctor

  11. No, you are not necessarily crazy. Sleep deprivation can cause any normal/mentally stable to start hallucinating. Last semester, I had noisy neighbors that kept me up all night. I could never sleep more than 3 hours per night. I started going "crazy", so to speak. However, as soon as I started sleeping again I was back to normal.

I don't see how a person that went a week without sleep could NOT start hallucinating.

Why haven't you been able to sleep? I am guessing that it is anxiety. Come to terms with your anxiety solve your worries then you can sleep again and return to normal.
