Could I actually get in trouble for not recycling?

I hate it and think its silly even though there are laws here say I must recycle. Can I actually get in trouble with the law for not recycling?

Not really, but everybody should do their part with recycling, maybe just inspiring others by wearing a t-shirt with eco-friendly messages.
