Could I be a model? (pic included) ?

I asked this a few days ago but alot of people commented on the poor quality of the picture. Hope this is better.

I'm 18, I'm slim and toned, UK size 8, American size 2/4, Dark green eyes, about 5'7 give or take. Honest opinions please, without being too harsh though. Thankyou

Models are usually a few inches taller.. But there are models with your height. So it's possible.

If you really want to be a model then use head on shots and full body shots not glamour shots because thats what agencies will be intrested in. If you want to know more than maybe visit some online model agencies and look at the requirments they are looking for.

Yes you can be a model, though make sure the picture is very clear when developed. Try to auditions for agency if you truly want to succeed in being a model. Remember never give up and try your best! Hope this helps. Good-luck!

But try to post a picture of you trying to model.

And a get a more clear picture.

Because people need to see if you have the curves of the body.

And see if you are a unique poser.

But you sutting on a bed I can't really tell.

For a catwalk model you usually have to be unique and thin, but i can't see the thinness on you cause you're sitting down!

If you are going for high fashion than the answer is no. You are too short, they are mostly 5'8 and taller and sizes 0-2 (sad, but true). You can prob do commercial or catalog.

I see a fuzzy picture of a girl sitting on a bed. From that, I have no way to judge your posture, your figure, anything that would give me the data I  need to determine if you have that physical attributes to become a model.

Well, you are pretty but average, your face is not unique enough to be a model, and the picture is too fuzzy. You don't need to be pretty to be a model though most models are different, unique looking not ugly just different.

You are asking the wrong question. Anybody can be a model. The question you should be asking is what type of model you want to be and whether you have the guts and determination to go through with it.

There are all sorts of models. There are models for panty hose ads where all you see are the woman's legs. There are models for hands for watch ads. There are editorial models whose jobs are to be in photos that accompany those articles in Newsweek and Nature. There are models for fashion that you see in Vogue. There are nude art models who only pose for serious artists. Then there are nude art models who pose for magazines like Playboy. There are models who pose for catalogs like JC Penny and Macys. Get the picture? There is no one set look for a "model". Figure out what you want to do and then go after it.

Modeling is a job like any other job. You have to know how to do it and work at it and be the best to survive. It's a lot more than being in front of a camera and looking pretty. You are basically acting while standing still. That takes talent and know-how. So practice pratice practice.

You have a nice body and pretty face but so does everyone who wants to be a model. Remember that. You're nothing special until you learn how to pose and give the proper look on que and even then you'll have to work your butt off to stand out. Your photo is simply awful. Look at all the magazines you can and emulate every pose and every look until you get them down.

When you are serious, call the big modeling agencies, Elite, Ford, DNA and so on. Ask them when their open casting call is and GO. Do whatever you have to in order to get there and get noticed.

well with pictures like that no, i dont think you would be able to become a model..in this pic you are trying to hard to look sexyy. i dont think you would be better if you were a couple inches taller.

and i cant really say because being model is more than being skinny tall and pretty..you also need that "signature walk" you need to be able to photograph nicely (you dont in this pic) you need to be smart. and you need to be able to pose you also need a good memory for commercials and stuff

so i really couldnt tell you
