  1. If you want to jsut play on the european tour, keep working and you may have a chance.  If you want to play with the real pros here in America on the PGA Tour, you are going to have to step it up a bunch just to get through qualifying school.

I guess you are "playing for your country" so you probably dont want to try to compete with the rest of the world on our tour.

I too shot a 33 for 9 the other day, I play off a 3, and Im probably not even in the top 1000 golfers in Kansas City alone, not to mention the rest of the country.

  2. u suck and the answers no. No im lying thats pretty good keep it up.

  3. Your 33 shows the POTENTIAL for great golf.  There are literally thousands of golfers with your level talent competing for less than a dozen spots .

Now, it is up to you to work harder than the other 1000's, and find someone who can teach you the mental side of the game, so you can bring your best play to tournament/pressure situations.

  4. You have a little something called...hmmm...what was it?

    Oh yeah...PURE POTENTIAL!!!!!!!!

I think the key is to maintain a sustained performance. One 33 doesn't get it. It's a great round and you must be very proud but can you shoot 66 for four consecutive days. That's what the pros can do. I realize you're only 13 and you apparently have a great desire to play the game. That's where it starts. But your desire is going to have to intensify even greater to continue on to the pro ranks. Wait until you discover girls and see where your desires go.

  6. Why are you a 9 handicap if you play like a one handicap?  Thirteen is pretty young to think you know what you really want to do the rest of your life, but it sounds like you should be able to turn pro if you keep working on your game.

  7. That 33 for nine is a great score for anyone on a par 36/9.

  8. PRETTY GOOD!!!!! IF you keep dreaming and trying as hard as you can I honestly think you can do it!

  9. well  you're better than sergio garcia now, and he makes a living playing golf, so yes.

  10. Well if your playing a par 3 course, I guess thats ok.  But if your playing a par 4 or 5 course, then you should be out trying to get into some tourneys.  Either way, just go and try out.  It dosent hurt at all, and it will build confidence, espically if your always playing with or around great golfers.

  11. Nine holes means nothing. Nothing at all. Don't ever compare 9 holes and try to consider it a round of golf. ever. If you want to be a tour pro, practice 5 days a week until you are in college, then you must make the college team, then you must become their #1. Then you can ask this question again after you win some tourneys at a major level of competition.

A nine handicap never plays like a 1. Your handicap is your handicap, and don't try to impress everyone with a sentence. I'd bet in the next six weeks you shoot a 71 and a 80 on the same course. Both good rounds but you are a 9 for a reason. When you can play 18 without getting tired, and without bragging about your first 9 under par, You may be ready for simple competition. Remember though, the only person who cares how you play is you. Especially your competitors. If you brag to them before the end of the round, no one will want to play with you. Cheer when you make a putt, and tell your friends, but don't ask for tour approval. Come on man. My advice is too keep playing until the only one asking if your gonna turn pro is a sponsor. And trust me, they will ask you if you are good enough. Until then, practice and record your handicap until someone finds you. Don't keep lying to try to impress someone that really knows nothing about you. If you do that, then even a coach would be unhappy. And by the way, You should get a personal coach if you wanna turn pro. If any bad habits do arrise, he or she will be able to stop them at the start and keep your game fresh.

  12. I'm not golf expert, but I'd say a 33/9 was pretty good. If you have a look around, I expect one of the big names, like Tiger, probably has a website where you could ask them just that question directly ;)

  13. A 33 on a regulation course is good.  However, it depends on the kind of course you were playing.  Was it a championship level course and were you playing from the back tees?  Sure, at your age, you have the potential.  Just keep at it.

  14. i play for my country to and am under 14 world champion
