Ok so I have been struggling to get pregnant. I a period on June 24th & had an HSG sceduled July 2nd. The HSG showed that my tubes are clear. July 11th I get another period! My doctor puts me on clomid 100mg. Just gives me a three month prescription & sent me on my merry way.

I took the clomid on days 5-9. Last week I started getting lower back pains in my lower right part of the back, I have been having the urge to urinate more, & I am having problems with going ( I go but it takes longer sorry TMI), Dizzy sometimes, & tired. I felt bloated (I never feel bloated) & was having some cramps.

This week most symptoms have subsided except for lower back pain, urinating & the other bathroom issue. Oh and the exhaustion.

I don't know what it could be. Did the clomid work? My period isn't expected until the end of this week or early next week. Being that I am irregular who knows if that even happens. I don't know what do you think?

  1. Those are classic preg symptoms...but the only way to know for sure is to test.

  2. I never felt any different while on that drug. I really didn't feel "pregnant" until I was a couple months along and nausea began.  Could you possibly have a urinary tract infection?  The flu?  This doesn't mean you are not pregnant or that the meds aren't working, but perhaps there is something else making you not feel well.  You should call your doctor and speak to him or a nurse and ask exactly what symptoms you can expect while taking clomid.  He/she would be the one to best know your exact medical situation and what may be causing the lower back pain, etc.  I knew I was pregnant because of the body temperature charts I was recording and a follow-up test, not really because of any feelings I had.  Good luck.

  3. Hello!

First of all don't stress about it!  That can cause your period to be late if you aren't pregnant.....You can get a pregnancy test that can detect the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days before a missed period.  Some of your symptoms sounds like early pregnancy.

    God Bless
