Could I be pregnant? One positive and three negative tests.?

I am a couple days late for my period. Yesterday evening I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. We went out to get additional tests to confirm, I drank more water, and late last night I got three negatives. I still have no period. Is there any chance I'm pregnant? Should I bother with more tests?

If you have ovaries and a uterus, then yes, there's a chance you could be pregnant.  Oh, yes, and you have to have had s*x.

You are more than likely pregnant! My doctor said there is no false positive because the test is testing for a pregnancy hormone that your body only makes if you are pregnant, if you are very early on in your pregnancy then there are greater chances for a false NEGATIVE especially if you didnt use early morning urine which is most concentrated...wait a day and take another one in the morning if you want to be sure or you could go to the doctor and find out for sure as well! : )

yes you can definatly be pregnant. after drinking so much water, you diluted your urine and possibly got false negative. you need to limit your liquid intake prior to testing,retest in the morning. pregnancy test check for hcg in the urine. the urine would have to have been in your bladder for at least 4 hours, since most of us will not hold urine for that long, that is why most tests say wait until the morning, because while you are asleep urine gathers and stays in the bladder for hours until you wake up. if you still get a negative, it is possible that what you saw on the positive test was just an evaporation line. if still no period get blood test. good luck to you!!

The water you drank to take the other three may have diluted your urine.  If you got a positive result on the first one I would have to say you are pregnant.  False negatives are common, but false positives aren't.

You are pregnant. If you want to try another test, don't dilute it by drinking lots of water before you take it. Also use first morning urine, it's highly concentrated in HCG.

You should go to the doctor and take the test. Most likely you are pregnant. If u are congratulations.
