Could I become a successful film director?

Question

I am a freshmen in high school

I have been in 4 plays

I have stared in 3 of them

I have been in many short scripts

I have been asked to do a script for bible school at my church

My middle school director wants me to come back and help direct

I have been asked by the high school drama "president" to join

I am very determined

I have all A's

All Honors classes

I live in Tennessee if that matters

So if you could please leave an honest answer it would be appreciated

sounds good to me...personally if i was u i would find a good film college and get some knowledge of it then move on to becoming a big film director..i wanna be an actress soo wen u get famous give me a call =]

You will need to study in college to get a serious start.

Get one of those books for dummies and read on how to be a film director or research your favorite film director and see how they made it to where they are. Go to the same school they went to or even try to write to them and maybe you'll get some tip. This i know for sure, it isn't an easy job to get. I also think that having connections helps too. You could, but it doesn't really matter what you get in high school.

Well not as much as college/university, but if your passionate about it, do good, then i'm sure you can.

You could also go to some summer schools for i.e. filming and/or directing, etc. Colleges will check for extracurricular activities.

O just a heads up, you'll probably be thinking of other careers to though.

Probably not! Unless your parents have $$$$ and they know everyone in Hollywood. My bother moved to Hollywood to become a famous film director...hahaha that was 28 years ago and he is just barely got half his big toe in. He wrote and help produce the film PING google it His name is Albert Ruis. The movie was a small hit. Now they have a big Disney film that is almost like his. Anyhow I hope you do, but its not likely. You would be better off being a doctor make the $$$ then go into making films;o)
