Hello everybody, I'm Italian and I'm 17.

I really love Britain...

After high school, I'd love to come there to attend the university... my greatest dream would be to graduate and maybe live there...

Could I come there to attend the university, or could I have any troubles?

Have you any advices or informations?

Thank you very much and sorry for my not perfect English...

bye!

  1. Yeah lots of universities and colleges take over seas students.

  2. Sorry, but I think that we are full at the moment!

  3. The cost of living here is ridiculous, I don't see why you couldn't study here, but living here after would be expensive.

I'm from Ireland, only reason I don't go back there is the economy isn't much better and I have a good job.

  4. If your Baccalaureate grades are good enough, you should be able to gain a place. As an EU-student you will qualify for some funding as well:

If you're from another EU country, you can apply for financial help to cover the cost of tuition fees for studying in England, Northern Ireland or Wales. Help with tuition fees may also be available if you’re a migrant worker from an EEA (European Economic Area) country or Switzerland, and in some cases to the children of Turkish workers in the UK.

Help with tuition fees: do you qualify?

    EU nationals

As an EU national, or a family member of an EU national, you can generally apply for financial help to cover the cost of tuition fees when studying in England, Wales or Northern Ireland if:

        * you have been living within the EEA and Switzerland for the three years immediately before the start of your course

        * your main reason for being in the EEA and Switzerland was not to receive full-time education

If you or your parent, guardian or partner were temporarily employed outside the EEA and Switzerland for all or part of the three-year period, you may still qualify for help.
