  1. Yes.  And you could increase your credibility by going to the Moon or Mars, etc.

  2. Yes.  And you could even put the title on your business card.  That doesn't mean that anyone has to accept or even acknowledge your authority.  You could even declare yourself president of the USA.  But again, no one has to accept or even acknowledge you as the president.  Just ask Al Haig.

  3. ofcourse u can, it's just a matter of getting people to belive you are!

  4. no, space is international territory.  It would be like trying to declare yourself president of the atlantic ocean.

  5. Dexter is correct, you could declare yourself whatever you want, but the only one that will acknowledge it is you.

  6. maybe if you send a multibillion dollar rover there

  7. no, a while back there was a treaty signed that no one person or nation could have total claim of the moon or other celestial bodies.

if u don't believe me go ahead and google it.

  8. you could declare yourself  the king of the moon if you liked but its not going to be reconised by any government

    United Nations resolution 34/68 states

agreement governing the activities of states on the moon and other celestial bodies 89th plenary meeting 5 december 1979

    section 3

neither the surface nor the subsurface of the moon, nor any part thereof or natural resources in place, shall become property of any state, international intergovernmental or nob-governmental organisation, national organisation or non-governmental entity or of any natural person

kind of covers the second question as well

found this in an old march 2006 sky & telescope mag about moon realastate scams

  9. No Moon & other  Celestial objects belong to the Lord.

  10. No you couldn't because you have to be a natural born citizen of the planet of which you are president of!

  11. Sure you could. Getting the rest of the world to acknowledge the legitimacy of your claim to that office is another matter. Only accredited diplomats can be granted diplomatic immunity. What crime do you want to commit that you wish immunity from?

  12. yes

    no

    (in that order)

  13. You can declare yourself to be president of anywhere you like.  Nobody would pay you much attention worth having, but such declarations can be done, should they somehow satisfy you.
