I'm not talking olympics, cuz I dont really want to be an olympian. Anyways, I'm 13 years old. I've been a ballet dancer my whole life so I'm really strong, and really flexible. i was constantly getting told off for having a curved back tho! and when i was 12, after doing it for so long it got mediocre so i quit and now i wanna do gymnastics. i'd like to do competitions, just not the olympics! haha.

so i'm starting artistic and tumbling classes in september. atm i have: handstand, front walkover, right splits and cartwheel. as i said, i'm strong and flexible and 13 YEARS OLDD.

if i do it for say, eight or ten years is there a chance i could be an elite gymnast one day?

if not how long would i have to do it for.

i'm from the uk btw.

  1. well i guess it depends on your dedication...how hard you train...what circumstances you find...your gym...so many other things...really nobody can tell you the answer to your question honestly...it took me 6 years from level 5-10...i became a level 10 when i was 15 i'm now 16...i think if that's a good reference point for you...
