Okay I'm 11 years old and this summer my family and I are going to knoebles and I am going to ride my very first roller coaster. What one? Phonex? Or the Twister? Which one is the less scary? I am TERRIFIED of them. I'm afraid i'd fall out because they dont have those things that come down over you. It's just a bar... Which isn't safe at all. Okay now like when my dad carries me on his back, I am like shaking and scared. I way 74 pounds. Idk if I can get on one or not. What do you think? I'm sooo terrified of these attraptions of DOOM!!! HELP!!?!!?!!

  1. you'll be fine they double check the belts so if you could fall out they would tell you

  2. u have to b 13 to be on yahoo answers...ITS OKAY im 11 too im jus playing i HATE when people say that...

I rode my first roller coaster when I  was 7, after taht i felt Sooo enerized and took on ANYTHING jus have fun or you'll regret it ride them ALL GOO DLUCk

  3. i was scared my first time on a roller coaster too  but after that i loved it

  4. i have been there...Twister!! Don't woory. NO one ever dies from a roller coaster!!

  5. go on the most scariest one!!!!!!!! i love rollercoasters, after u done it you'll be very proud of yourself i guarentee, you'll naturally grip hard any way, and they'll have a height restriction, and if it was unsafe they wouldnt allow ppl to go on it, so no u wont drop just give it a go, if you really wanna

  6. It depends what type of bar you're talking about.

If it's a loop coaster and it's only a bar then I recommend you don't go on it,but if you DO go on it then I wouldn't be that worried because of gravity. It'll push you in your seat due to force.

But if it's just drops then it's totally normal. All seat belts with normal drops only require a lab bar.You won't fall out unless you jump out.I remember my first roller coaster was when I was 8.

  7. My daughter loves roller coasters, and she is only 12.  She rode her first roller coaster when she only 6 years old, at Six Flags in California.  I think you have to force yourself to ride, and take someone to sit with you that you feel safe with.  If after you ride if you didn't like it, then don't ride anymore, but you have to try it at least once!

  8. the twiseter i went to orlendao flordia the amusent park there orlendao park and frist time i rode roller coaster was revenge of the mummy and it was scary we turned side ways and upsdie down and thigns popped out and i was only in a bar and i didnt fall out! so dont worry

  9. don't worry about it you'll be fine

  10. Well im about your same age and I think you should get in one because when you get in one you are going to have the ride of your life its hard to explain it over the internet but you would be safe and sound even if your protected by a bar.

  11. I believe that the Phoenix is bumpier and more rugged, but the Twister is milder.

They were both my first roller coasters, and were really fun.

I would not suggest the Phoenix because you jump out of your seat on the bumps. =/

  12. dont worry,i live in england and i go on lots of roller coasters.even though they look terryfying, they arent that bad.i remember going on my first - i loved it and i have not stopped going on them eversince - until you ride them you dont realize how much fun you are missing out on!!!!!!!from RM

  13. I know thta like everyone says this but you have to face your fears. I was terrified when I first went on a roller coaster. I got the the top of the line and chickened out. MY sister then convinced me to try again so I did, went on the ride, and ended up loving it!! Just have fun and don't worry. You only have one life to live so make the best out of it.

  14. As long as you're 48" or 54" you should be fine. Those are usually height requirements for coasters... Especially the more intense ones which require you to be 54" and up... You'll be fine unless you have some sort of heart condition or something that may go... well, just get checked out if you're that worried.
