I currently work at a place that is frustrating me. I am on salary doing graphic design and video work. I feel as though decisions are made and then constantly changed at the most inconvenient moment.
For example, we are usually here monday-friday, 9-5, are off saturdays, and then do work on sundays all day. Last week, however, we had events on Saturday morning and I had to be at the office until about 2:30 in the afternoon after having stayed until 7:30 the night before. I had been told all weekend that I would have that monday off, then on Sunday night at 9:00 PM I'm told to come in at lunch. I told him I was upset and I told him why I had a problem with this change (ie, I was told one thing and was expecting that.).
This happens quite a bit and in different ways and areas... (ESPECIALLY in artwork.) I've voiced my frustration a few times (Calmly, mind you), but I am either told "This is who we are. We always change," but I feel like that's a copp out to be unorganized.
