Ok, so I'm going to Disney World,Florida in 7 day's (we are having a count down!) And I'm not aloud to go on any rides by myself. I talked them into going on Mount Everest...but when I asked them if I could go on The Tower of Terror they said quote,"I'm not going on that sick ride, I'm going to get sick on that thing!!!" So how is the ride exactly? And how do i get my dad into going on the ride? Would it get him sick? Because he gets sick REAL easily.

  1. Tower Of Terror is a free fall.  If he has ever done something like that then yes if not ... it is not for him. Then again some rollercoasters are way more scaryier then that.

  2. I've never been on it myself but its mostly like an elevator that you sit on. It goes up then goes down. Does he get sick on elevators?

  3. no it wouldnt get him sick........there are no sharp turns or dizzyness on that ride.    I do not think that would get him sick..........  beg him and say plz!!!! say u only get to go to disney world once a year!!!!          good luck!!

  4. My mother get motion sickness very easily as well, but she has never gotten sick on Tower of Terror.  It's a different type of motion than makes most people ill.  So I guess it depends on what kind of motion it is that makes your dad sick.

As already explained, but perhaps not very clearly, almost all Disney rides have an exit for people who get in the line but then decide not to ride.  It's great for groups who want to stand in line together but not everyone in the group wants to actually ride.  So your dad could go all the way through the line with you, leave you when you are actually loaded on the ride, and meet you at the exit right as you get off the ride.  So you wouldn't be alone.

Some Disney rides have really neat lines to walk through, too, and are interesting to look at.  Tower of Terror has a interesting line - it's so neat to see how they made it look like it really was an old hotel.

  5. It depends how tall you are and if you were the right height, then yes.

At the first you go slowly up and then when you can see light, it like goes real fast down and then it repeats that. IT WILL BE FUN!!!! I don't think it would make him sick.

  6. It is fairly intense, and would probably make him sick (if indeed he gets ill easily).

However -- do you and your folks know about the chicken exits?  Most of the more intense rides at Disney (Tower of Terror, Everest, etc.) offer a way for you and your whole group to go through the line together.

Just before you get into the vehicle, let the Cast Member know what's going on, and they'll direct those people not wanting to ride thru a door that leads them right to the exit.  That way, your folks can meet you right when you get off the ride.

  7. lmao! i went on that when i was like 6 or 7 and i was crying because i was afraid! lol i know i was a weenie!  but it basically takes you up really high and all the suddun drops you. you start falling REALLY fast. your butt rises off the seat a little friom the gravity. but you'll have a strap thing around your legs. when you go down all you feel is a tingly feeling in your tummy. but if your dad gets sick REAL easily i am not sure if he could ride it

  8. well what it is is u get into a elevator thing and u sit down then it goes into the twilight zone. next everything turns black and u go up a little ways then the doors open and u can see the whole park then...well u drop and go bk up about 5 times u can feel it in ur belly

  9. I've been on it several times. In my opinion it's the best ride at DW.

  13. lol i didn't go on it

but my dad and sister did

the rock and roller coaster omg they tricked me into going on that

    now that is fasttt

  14. tower of terror is a free fall ride, but inside! the ride is not that bad but if your dad gets sick REALLY easily than have someone else go one it with you, but if it is just you and your dad going to disney ask if you can ride by yourself by he goes in line with you and when you get to the front of the line, if he does not want to do it then you can get on the ride and he waits down stairs so when you get off he will be waiting you have to be 48 inches or over to ride by your self! if you can't do that then check out the discreption on hollywood studio's website and the video. for more videos go to youtube. trust me it's not that bad, but make sure your dad dose NOT get sick!

hope you have a great trip,

  15. You walk into this detailed old hotel with cobwebs and whatnot displayed all around. You eventually make your way down into a boiler room area at which point you are loaded onto an elevator by a bellhop. All the while, screens around you are playing the Twilight Zone clips. You get strapped in and the elevator begins to rise in total darkness. Once it stops, the front panels open, flooding the elevator with light and you see that you're way above the entire park. Then you drop a few floors suddenly, stop, rise up a few floors, drop a few floors, rise, etc.
