I have lived in my home for over two years now. I do not have any animals and have never had any Fleas. My daughter recently went and spent two weeks with her Dad. He has two dogs and a cat. I saw something flying around a light source in my home. A little red nat. Could this be a Flea? If it is what should I do? She has started going with her Dad every other weekend. Do I need to bomb my house every week? I am hoping that it is a Fruit fly. I recently bought some Apples. What do you think?

  1. You have nothing to worry about. I promise you that FLEAS DO NOT FLY!! it's definitely only a fruit fly

  2. Flea would have been a little black fleck that you could barely see.

  3. fleas are tiny and black.

  4. Fleas do not fly.  They jump.

  5. Fleas don't have wings. They can't fly.

Considering this is summer, it could be any of a huge number of different type of bugs but it sure wouldn't be fleas.
