Question:

Could I have damaged the nerve?

Hey, I took a little fall off a horse the other day (we were jumping a course and the horse refused one of the heavier fences, and I fell through the jump, taking two of the poles down with me), and was sore with a lot of bruising under the skin, but otherwise fine. However, my trainer seemed to think it was a worse fall than I did. I wasn't worried, but I noticed that when I extended my arm, the nerve would get a bit tingly (the ulnar nerve it feels like...funny bone?). And the same happens when I just rest my head on my elbows.

Anyway, I was wondering if I should be worried or not, because there is a pretty ugly bruise visible just above my elbow, so I was thinking maybe the area just got a little sensitive and will settle down after the bruise is gone. Should I be worried? Or should I just wait and see if it returns to normal after the bruise is gone?

It's nothing major, just a slight tingle, enough to annoy.

  1. ALWAYS SEE A DOCTOR WHEN SOMTHING DOES NOT FEEL RIGHT! With the explanation you have given, it will be difficult to determine whether or not there is any nuerological damage. It is possible. But if I had to make a desicision it would be no, but still please see a doctor.

  2. i went to the doctor today he told me to get a warm towel and put it on three times a day it will work
