Well, my great grandmother had it, but my father and my grandmother didn't. I think I have it because I have to pee (at least) 20 times day. Whenever I drink soda or eat sweet foods I get dizzy and throw up, My lips are always chapped, and I'm always thirsty.

  1. Age has nothing to do with it.  You need to get to a doctor and tell him/her your concerns and family history.  Sounds like you have a lot of the symptoms but there are numerous potential causes for each of these.  In the meantime switch to a low-carb diet (carbs are the real problem for diabetics), the south beach diet is the best place to start.  Avoid sodas and white grains, and focus on high fiber and whole grains in moderation.

  2. have you told ur doctor about this your doctor will test u and try to help u  there an organ call the pancreas if make insulin that turn sugar into energy if it6 don't make enough insulin the sugar can cause problem like blind ness kidney failure and increases your chances of a stroke or heart failure

  3. Check your blood sugar.

  4. If you're eating and drinking normally and pee at least 20 times per day you have diabetes for sure. Stop eating sugary foods if they make you sick.

  5. Age has nothing to do with it. I was seven years old when i was diagnosed. You definitely are showing some symptoms of diabetes. Go to a doctor ASAP.

  6. you definitely could be diabetic.... my symptoms were fatigue about an hour after I ate, I peed at least 2x during the night, and sometimes I would get incredibly thirsty.  You could have the docs do a simple urine test to find out..  If you do have diabetes you may be able to control it with exercies and/or diet.
