  1. Make sure you practice consistently. It is best to run every day.

Try not to take off for more than 2 days in a row, unless you are injured or very sore.

In Practice run at least twice the distance you are going to run in cross country. (for example, if you are going to run a 3 mile race, you should probably run at least 6  miles a day once you get in shape.

I could give you alot more tips, ive been running cross country for 10 years. If you have any more questions just shoot me an email.

    otherwise... Good Luck.

  2. Before practices start i suggest doing some running by yourself. Also two major things you must do before and during the season in strech and drink tons of water. Once the season starts always listen to your coaches and dont slack off and try to take as few breaks as possible. Good luck!

  3. Do you best at practise, listen what the coaches have to say because they have experience, have a positive mind set going into the meets, get lots of rest and eat healthy. Also if you miss a practise for some reason make it up on your own time (believe me its beneficial). Have fun!

  4. just follow the advice of your coach(es)?
